30 YEARS OF QUALITY MUSIC EVENT PRODUCTIONS
(NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY POLITICAL PARTY!)
OUR BRANDS
Since 1994, we have been putting on quality music events under four main guises - REFORM, MUD CLUB, FUNK YOU and IBIZA ROX. 2023 sees the birth of a new venture and the 5th brand under the Reform Soundsystem banner - Voodoo Festival. Each had it's own unique identity and attracted discerning partygoers who appreciated good music in a nice environment, surrounded by like minded people. High quality production was always paramount - the music and the sound had to be top quality, the venues were always decorated to create the perfect party atmosphere, and the promotion and up-for it crowd always guaranteed a top quality night was had by all who attended. Parties catered for crowds from 50 to 1500 people, or tens of thousands at some of the countries biggest festivals in the Strongbow tent!
VOODOO FESTIVAL
'Voodoo' is a new mini-fest celebrating the life of our dear, departed friend and Reform right hand man, Martyn Skinner; and the eclectic musical heritage of the Deep South (Coast!) - a journey through Funky Underground House, Oldskool, Nu-Jazz, Funk, Soul, Afro, Funky Breaks, Disco, Hip Hop & Reggae. From the late 80s, the south coast of England was a hotbed of music culture - we were blessed in this area with many trailblazers & legendary venues, promoters & DJs and we have assembled some of this area's finest to celebrate that heritage. We look forward to growing the festival to celebrate more of what this area has to offer musically.
REFORM PARTIES

Reform, 1993 - present day (100+ parties)
.
Bumpin Underground House Music 50 - 1000 capacity venues.
At the height of the dance music scene, Reform was born and we put on underground house parties in woods, warehouses, stables, boats, caves, churches, clubs, restaurants...around the South Coast and London.
Our home town had zero actual 'venues' so we had to be creative and make parties out of everyday spaces. Harvey Bailey has headlined every Reform party since 1993. Reform built it’s reputation not by having ‘big name’ DJs, but by Harvey and his team of unique and trusted DJs, building Reform into a well-respected and legendary underground night. The name Reform is synonymous with quality music, unique, underground venues and good party atmosphere and that is 100% down to Harvey & fellow DJ’s musical prowess and crowd-pleasing skills, and the ability to take the crowd on a musical journey in a safe and friendly environment.
THE MUD CLUB

Mud Club, 2005 - 2010

All dance music genres from house to UK Garage, to Hardcore and more.
400 capacity venue.
Harvey, with partner Emma created the Mud Club in 2005. At the time 'super clubs' were losing their allure, instead funseekers were favouring a more intimate ‘house-party’ vibe, best suited to more cosy, intimate venues. This is what Reform had been quietly perfecting for the last 14 years, and this was the blueprint for the Mud Club. It was a warm, earthy, flexible space to cater for all the different nights, and it had a top notch, one-of-a-kind sound system, the best light show on the south coast and quality music provided by renowned and respected artists and promoters. It played host to THE biggest names in the DJ business, people like Judge Jules, DJ Jazzy Jeff from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Roni Size, Goldie, Norman Jay MBE, DJ Sneak to name but a few. FUNK YOU

2016 - present day.

Retro beats for a modern dance floor. Nu-Skool & Old-skool funk, acid jazz, hip-hop & house.

Musical tastes were evolving and a new music scene was bubbling - taking in nu-jazz, jazz fused with hiphop, breaks, broken beat, rare groove, disco fused house and retro beats for a modern dance floor . We wanted to bring an element of that into the nights we were doing at Woodies so we launched a new night - Funk You! partly inspired by a late friend and Reform DJ,Paul Page it was to represent a combination of nu-skool & old-skool funk, acid jazz, hip hop classics and quality house - so we wanted to include that vibe as much as possible, and it provided the perfect warm up to the evening, with the end of the night being a familiar funky, bumpin' house set to provide a crescendo to whip the crowd into a frenzy. The new format allowed us to include some new DJs who may not have been able to play so regularly at Reform nights, and the new format went down a storm.
IBIZA ROX

2015, 2016 & 2017

The Dance 'Stage' / Venue at the Rox Festivals, hosted by The Williams Hardwicke
We had a long history of working with Rox, dating back to 2002, and in 2015, the Festival had moved from being in the grounds of the Royal Norfolk to being in various venues around the town, so we took over the Hardwicke and Ibiza Rox was born. The idea was to create an Ibiza party vibe with a more broad selection of house music styles than we would normally showcase with Reform alone. The pub terrace was transformed into a beach party vibe and we danced under the sun until it got dark, at which point the party moved inside and continued until 2am. The pub was rammed, one in one out from very early on, and for the next two years, we repeated that success, with various tweaks to the Ibiza Rox line ups. Sadly after 2017 the Rox festival went into pause mode due to the illness of its founder, so watch this space to see what will happen next.
